Vendor/License Analyst G3

Urgent requirement for a Vendor/License Analyst to be based in Qatar on a 3-year contract for a major IT vendor.
Responsibilities:

License Management: Expertly manage and optimize software and technology licenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and strict adherence to licensing agreements.
Usage Monitoring: Continuously monitor software usage, tracking compliance, and identifying opportunities for optimization.
Cost Optimization: Identify, develop, and implement advanced strategies to optimize software licensing costs.
Compliance Assurance: Ensure unwavering compliance with legal requirements and licensing agreements.
Risk Mitigation: Lead efforts to minimize risks associated with software audits and non-compliance through comprehensive assessments and strategic action plans.
Vendor Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with software vendors and suppliers.
Documentation: Maintain meticulous and comprehensive records of software licenses and agreements.
Reporting: Generate sophisticated reports and provide valuable insights on software license usage and compliance.
Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate adeptly with various stakeholders, ensuring seamless alignment on licensing strategies and compliance efforts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
10+ years of unparalleled experience in vendor/license management or related roles.
Exceptional expertise in software licensing agreements and mastery of compliance requirements.
An unwavering commitment to precision and meticulous attention to detail.
Exceptional communication skills to navigate interactions with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in advanced data analysis and the ability to make data-driven recommendations.
Familiarity with the latest software asset management tools and practices is highly advantageous.
